My husband and I bought this ruin in 1999, we immediately fell in love with it for the tranquillity of the place and the beauty of the surrounding nature. Olive trees and white Ragusan stone characterize the property that we have decided to maintain and enhance. We lived in this house for 14 years and it is here that we raised our children, Mattia and Teresa.<\/p>\nIn the meantime, the desire to open the doors of our home to those who, like us, love to travel with their family and, at the same time, feel at home surrounded by the welcome that only a holiday home can offer, grew in us.<\/p>\n

Villa Antica Aia was born in 2014 after a meticulous renovation and attention to detail, not only of the layout but also of the facilities at the service of the guests.

\nVilla Antica Aia Relax was born only 2 years later. This structure adjacent to the first, also composed of a simple farmhouse combined with a manger and a barn, was completely renovated in 2015.

The villa was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with a lovely garden, pool and hot tub. The room was beautiful and we slept very well. The villa is in a lovely quiet spot perfect for getting away from it all and a short taxi ride to the gorgeous town of Scicli. Oriana was the perfect host and delivered a delicious breakfast each morning. She was helpful and on hand for any thing we needed but also gave us space to enjoy her home as our home. It was a struggle to leave the comfort and privacy of the house and it\u2019s amazing amenities but the surrounding area is full of numerous family friendly beaches and stunning towns to explore. Oriana and Matteo were the most charming hosts and nothing was too much trouble - she even arranged for someone to come in and keep the place spotless whilst we were out and for hire bikes to be delivered to the house for my two boys! Certainly the best concierge service we have ever experienced - I just wish I could replicate that back at home!! We had the best holiday ever and can\u2019t wait to return to our very own Sicilian \u201chome from home\u201d! Grazie di Tutto Oriana <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Le ville sono veramente belle e pulite ed hanno tutti i comfort (aria condizionata in tutti gli ambienti, 2 piscine, televisioni, phon, wi-fi, zanzariere nelle stanze, teli anche per il mare, tutto ci\u00f2 che occorre per cucinare, dispenser con disinfettanti,...). Il sito si trova in una posizione immersa nel verde assai tranquilla, vicino comunque a siti assolutamente da visitare (Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Noto...). La padrona di casa Oriana \u00e8 stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile, consigliandoci anche i posti migliori di mare (Sampieri, Cava D'Alia, Donnalucata...) e per la spesa (assolutamente da provare gli arancini e le scacce all'"Angolo frgli antichi sapori " di Scicli). Il prezzo \u00e8 assai competitivo per tutto ci\u00f2 che viene offerto. Insomma assolutamente consigliabile soggiornare a Villa Aia. Torneremo sicuramente anche noi <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

The house and garden areas are beautifully laid out, immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped. The pool is a great size (and depth!) and the garden designed to offer complete privacy. The villa is a large, comfortable home with plenty of space indoors and an enormous covered terrace complete with table football, hammock, huge dining table - as a group of 8 adults we never felt cramped. The most important feature of this villa is Oriana, the owner. She seems to be available 24\/7! From greeting us on arrival to delivering home-made tiramisu and helping to source a birthday cake, she was completely at our disposal. She even turned up with gifts for the people celebrating their birthdays! Any queries received an immediate response. Oriana, grazie e stato perfetto, magnifico!! <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

No one wanted to leave this beautiful house and have to say goodbye to Oriana who is not just the most wonderful,welcoming hostess but also a lovely person. The house and gardens with olives,pomegranates,pears,quinces and the scent of lavender hedges are a delight.Good use was made of the pool and comfortable loungers.We also had a splendid barbecue. The region is so beautiful and offers something for everyone from baroque churches,beaches ,a museum of the history of chocolate (Modica)excellent regional cuisine,the Montalbano experience and don\u2019t miss the ice cream parlour in Donnalucata. Noto,Ragusa and Scicli are within easy reach and all stunning. This year we also went a little further to Villa Romana del Casale with its fabulous mosaics,a Unesco Heritage Site. No one wanted to leave this beautiful house and have to say goodbye to Oriana who is not just the most wonderful,welcoming hostess but also a lovely person. The house and gardens with olives,pomegranates,pears,quinces and the scent of lavender hedges are a delight.Good use was made of the pool and comfortable loungers.We also had a splendid barbecue. The region is so beautiful and offers something for everyone from baroque churches,beaches ,a museum of the history of chocolate (Modica)excellent regional cuisine,the Montalbano experience and don\u2019t miss the ice cream parlour in Donnalucata. Noto,Ragusa and Scicli are within easy reach and all stunning. This year we also went a little further to Villa Romana del Casale with its fabulous mosaics,a Unesco Heritage Site. The Villa is awesome and 5 ensuite bathrooms are not often to get in this quality. Also your personal support and your tips were incredibly. Half an Hour by car there are Perfect small cities for lunch, Dinner and Shopping. 5 Minuten to the See.
